Hello Everyone!
There are still a few that have not completed the survey. If you can do that as soon as possible that would be great! We have received a couple messages from people who can't find their survey. I will send a link to those people right after this update goes out!
A quick apology! I'm sorry we have not posted in a while! We have been working so hard with our manufacturer and other marketing efforts that I have neglected posting an update. Rest be assured we are working very hard and are excited to get product to you all!
Marketing
- We have had a few different retailers and online outlets reach out to us so we are working with them to potentially launch to their respective audiences. I share these things with you all because the more traction we get as a business the more opportunities we have to ship product and create new things. It's just good for us to get in front of more people. We appreciate the support you have given us and continue to give us in telling you friends and family about what we're doing!
Production & Shipping
- We are now moving into full production. We have had to work through a couple issues with our manufacturer but we should now be good to go! We are still looking on track to be done with manufacturing mid July and delivering as quickly as we receive them from the factory.
Halton
- We would love to stay connected with you all and hear about the adventures you go on, as well as hear about how you are using your backpacks and additional items. We will be starting an exclusive facebook group where we will post about early access to new products and offers and where we can all talk about the adventures we go on. If you are interested in joining please do, we'll send out a message about this when we're ready!

Hello Everyone!
Thank you to everyone who has already filled out the survey that we sent out! To those that have not yet filled it out please make sure to do that as soon as you can! It most likely came from a company called "Backerkit". If you can't find the email feel free to click on this link and input the email you used for kickstarter and it will send you a new one.
We couldn't be more excited to send out product and get your feedback. We are working very hard with our manufacturer to make sure everything is done correctly.
Marketing
- We have opened pre-orders on our website. Feel free to send any friends and family there in the future! HaltonGear.com
- We have had a couple cool opportunities in the works. We have had one of the original Shark Tank sharks reach out to us, and a couple awesome media outlets reaching out to try to feature us as well. Stay tuned!
Producting & Shipping
- We have made some very minor changes to the bag. We have decided to use a different material for the logo patch that fits more with our aesthetic, we think you'll like it. We altered some of the interior zippers to make it easier to access. We added more padding to all areas of the bag to make it more comfortable and structured. We have also been working hard to make sure the additional items are perfect. The final feature set for the add ons is very close! They are going to be so awesome, more detail on this soon!

BackerKit surveys are coming!

Hello All!
Soon, you’ll receive an email from us with a special link to your BackerKit survey. It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information to fulfill your rewards.
You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email!
After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts.
If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email.
If you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your Kickstarter account, the BackerKit survey is sent to the email address you use for your Facebook account.

Hello All!
In this email you'll find some important information on how we plan to manage everything with you up until we deliver your orders! If you don't have time to read it now it may be worth saving this message and coming back to it later so you understand what to expect! Thanks for your support! See below:
First off, we plan to update you using the following template split up into three categories:
1. Marketing - this will include our latest efforts in promoting our products and how you can help if you would like!
2. Production & Shipping - we recognize you took a risk in backing us, being a new and unknown company, so we want to create as much transparency as possible as we move to produce and deliver your orders. Here we will talk about how the process is going and always update our timeline of when to expect delivery.
3. Halton - we also want to keep you updated on what we have going on as a company, what our plans are in the future, and anything and everything Halton.
Marketing Update
- We have launched on Indiegogo! Indiegogo is another crowdfunding platform similar to kickstarter. We launched there to get access to Indiegogo's audience. If you know anyone that missed out on our kickstarter send them to our indiegogo and they'll still get a pretty good discount on our products before they go to full price!

Production & Shipping Update
- Our manufacturer has officially received the final go ahead for our production units. So we are right on schedule.
- We will continue to keep you updated here as we receive more information from our manufacturer during the production process.
- We planned to send out our survey's to get addresses and choices for add-ons this week but we didn't know we had to wait two weeks post campaign to send it! Oops! So the email with the survey will be going out next week! Watch for that!
Halton Update
- It is no secret that starting a company and launching a product is not an easy task. We have definitely learned that the hard way. This campaign has been such a rewarding and, at times, painful experience. But we wouldn't trade it for anything. We are so grateful for the support that we have received and we really just can't wait to get products into your hands.
- We plan to update once a week from here on out. If we update more than that it's because it's something extra important!
